Dear debate community,
I would like to remind you, that the deadline for nominating candidates for 
the Board elections is approaching.

If you would like to nominate somebody for the Board please send an e-mail 
to ivo.iliev at gmail.com , providing a valid e-mail contact for the nominee 
and a statement saying: “I would like to nominate (name and last name) for 
IDEA Board Member in 2006 elections”.

In order for the nominee to run in the elections she/he would have to accept 
the nomination. The Nomination Committee will contact the nominee and ask 
her/him if they accept the nomination. Once a response from nominees is 
received, their candidacy becomes accepted.

If somebody wishes to nominate herself/ himself please send an e-mail 
saying: “I would like to nominate myself for IDEA Board Member in 2006 
elections”

The information regarding nominators (including the persons who have 
nominated themselves) is confidential. The deadline for nominating 
candidates is 20th of October. After this deadline no nominations will be 
accepted.

So, look around you debate communities and see who are the people that would 
bring most value to IDEA, by serving on the Board.

If you need more information about the nomination and election procedures, 
please do not hesitate to contact the nomination committee.
