IDEA Recognizes Debate and Human Rights on Human Rights Day 2007

December 10th is International Human Rights Day.  In recognition of this
important day, IDEA has featured several articles on human rights,
accessible via the Debatepedia at wiki.idebate.org.  IDEA would also like
to recognize members of the global debate community.  As debate activists,
you are celebrating a human right that is not granted to all citizens and
should not be taken lightly--the right to discuss, to engage in dialogue,
and to speak freely on issues that affect all countries and communities. 
Debating is a celebration and exercise of human rights.
