European Youth Speak Conference: IDEA Model European Youth Parliament
Amsterdam, March 16th - 17th, 2007
The future of Europe is built by todays Youth
A Fun Learning Opportunity: Are you interested in international politics?
Would you like to see how the European Parliament operates? Would you like
to discuss your vision for the future of Europe? Can you help to make a
difference? Can you advise the EU? If so, then come to this conference,
because at the EYS Conference - IDEA Model European Parliament, you will
have a chance to become a European Parliament official - it is a great way
to experience the way the European Parliament works, to learn new skills,
and discuss important issues with youth from different countries. The
debates will lead to advices for the EU and will be presented to the
European Commission in Rome.
When? Friday March, 16th and Saturday March, 17th, 2007
Who? EYS conference is for university students, secondary school students,
youth workers, and educators, who care about the future of Europe.
Conference Costs? There is no conference fee! However, participants will
have to pay for their own travel and accommodation costs.
Location
Friday 16 March at KHL Amsterdam and Lloyd Hotel. Registration starts at
10.00 at KHL: Oostelijke Handelskade 44, Amsterdam.
Saturday 17 March at University of Amsterdam. Be present at 10.00 at
Oudemanhuispoort 4-6, Amsterdam.
How to register? Registration opens on January 15th. There is a limited
number of spaces, so please register quickly!
