Dear All,

between 1st and 7th December, IDEA will be organizing its first African Youth Forum. It is part of the DTD Project (Dialogue Through Debate) that IDEA is implementing jointly with CRY Uganda, AJPRODHO Rwanda and Informal Education Debate Centre (Lithuania). To read more about the project, please visit [http://www.idebate.org/dtd] www.idebate.org/dtd

The Forum is the last event of the Project which has included trainings, public debates and debate tournaments in both Rwanda and Uganda. It will bring together 100 participants from Rwanda and Uganda - secondary school students, coaches and trainers. The theme for the Forum is the rights of children and the Forum will feature: public speaking, mock parliament, and Karl Popper debates.

We have set up a discussion Forum for Ugandan and Rwandan trainers as well as communicate regularly through email and phone.

To check the discussion forum please go to:

We welcome you contributions and suggestions – we wil soon be posting curriculum for the Forum on the site.

Best

Marcin
