> Best greetings from Tübingen and I am looking forward to meeting you in Koper soon.
> I am writing you on a different topic now however, and - as far as I am concerned - a very nice one. My debating society in Tübingen has secured funds (and is working on more) to organize a major international debating tournament and workshops for univerity students in german next May (24.-28. with optional excursions on the following days). The event will consist of a mixture of debate introductions (for students with limited parliamentary debate background) and introductions into the applied style as well as substantive papers on international institutions and politics by university experts and of course a full tournament with seperate finals for german-as-a-native-language and german-as-a-foreign-language. The tournament is open to all international students who would like to train and try the active german skills and of course specifically aims at our closer neighbouring countries to the south and east. To encourage a strong international participation we secured enough funds and decided on a policy to wave all registration fees for the first team (three debaters and an optional adjudicator) of each country - so for those who register first the entire event will be free.

> I would be very happy if you could pass the attached link with the detailed invitation (in german) to slovenian (and other) debaters whom you think might be interested to participate and able to try it in german. We are not expecting the highest level in language proficiency because our main aim is to promote international plurality (including in language) in debating through exchange. I am going to post the invitation on the major debating groups next week but already wanted to let you know about it personally in advance. The registration will begin in November and I am going to send an official mail around once our website has opened for it.
>
> If you now further people how might be interested in the invitation, please feel free to send me their email adresses or just forward this mail.
