Call for Participation to Attend  GYO Annual conference 
GYO invites you to her DEC 11-21ST, 2006 in USA/UK for annual
conference of the Global youth movements and other related NGO's. 

While the world is emerging from the bloody conflicts and violence 
that have marked the 20th century, Africa remains a theatre of war 
and a public health museum.  These not withstanding conflicts have 
taken new, intricate and internecine dimensions that require new and 
innovative approaches if they have to be contained.  

Many African nations are facing severe tests and 
challenges of nationhood while at the same time having to contend 
with extra-national problems.  We can no longer sit back and blame 
colonialism but come together, examine, prescribe and administer 
medication to the myriad problems that plague the continent today 
and threaten it the following day.  We must develop frameworks for 
solving these problems

What are the objectives of this meeting? The meeting will provide a 
space 
where youth & women's rights advocates from diverse backgrounds and 
working 
on different issues can engage with each other and with like-minded 
donors, in
order to:
Provide quality prevention of abuse of the youth and women. 
Discuss how NGO's and women organizations and movements can work 
together 
Develop creative and innovative strategies to fight these social  ills 
Advance child protection development through innovative projects

The Conference will bring together Youths,Religious Organisations, 
Youth Leaders, Performers, Educators, Artists, Scholars and 
Researchers, 
psychologists and therapists, Health Professionals, Business 
professionals, 
Youth workers,Activists,NGO's and Community organizers to showcase what 
need 
to be done to win this war.

SPONSORSHIP
GYO has set up an Access fund to support the travel costs, 
accommodation and feeding for all participants. 
However, participants will be expected to send there names and
passport numbers for reservation in our recommended hotel.
This will help ensure that only qualified delagates will be
entitled to accommodation. Applicants who need assistance can 
apply to the Access fund at the same time they apply to participate

TO QUALIFY
Participants MUST be a group of 5-10 persons to qualify for
registration. Participants must possess an international
passport atleast six months before the event date.
