A Chance for Change!

European Youth Week: June 3rd to June 10th



Debate, Discussion, and Creative Solutions – these elements highlight the
third annual European Youth Week (EYW).  Under this year’s theme of “Social
Diversity and Inclusion of Young People in Europe,” youth from across Europe
will have a chance to share their views, express their opinions, and, of
course, make new friends.



EYW offers an exciting mix of methods for youth to communicate their ideas:
you may express your thoughts on “Social Diversity and Inclusion” through
music and video, as well as through debate and discussion.  Plus, you can
gain recognition for your efforts through Youthpass, a counterpart of
Europass, and an official record of your non-formal educational experiences,
in events such as these. Useful for when you will apply for jobs, Youthpass
serves to recognize the unique skills you gain at events such as EYW – check

Most importantly, your views will be seen and heard!  EYW attendees have the
opportunity to attend a political round table debate attended by European
Commission members.  Finally, the conclusions reached by the Brussels event
will be delivered to the Commission and the Council of Youth Ministers.



So, artists, musicians, directors, and debaters are all welcome to EYW
